So I have sat back and told all of the doubters to stop being some doom and gloom about fm3. Remain optimistic I said , it will be awesome I said. I was wrong , aside from the offline career mode failza 3 is weak. No tuning in lobbies , you heard it right. You now cannot tune you car in the lobbies. We don't want people who actually know how to tune winning because of it. Also , no custom public matches. If you want to play a public game you have to pick from a cookie cutter setting provided by Turn 10. I am just happy I know people from fm2 to play with in our Private matches. I used to make public rooms with my settings and let people join in. I met a lot of cool , non forums people this way. Good for me and for them. Well no more. We will have to play in private lobbies to be able to have our own settings. So much for meeting new people. So imagine you are racing in a lobby and the track that comes up (not by your choice but by turn 10) is a track your gears aren't set for. Forget it , quit out or prepare to be topped out in 6th gear on long straights. I loved and looked forward to tuning online. It was fun to make a run and then quit back and change your settings. No more. All in all I am just in disbelief. Surely no one complained about having the ability to tune their cars in the lobby so I see absolutely no reason to take it out. Will I still buy the game? Yes. Will I ever subject myself to matchmaking? No. Matchmaking is terrible and anyone who doesn't think so doesn't play games. Forza 2 had so many people playing for so long because it had endless capabilities. We could start a team roon and explain to new people coming in what banger racing is and get more people interested in it. Now if you want to do something like this you best hope you can find 8 people to do it. Like I said earlier I sat back and laughed at the doom and gloom people and now I am one of them. I could even live with no public custom games but not being able to change gears when racing in an online tournament? garbage. Feel free to agree , disagree , or flame if you like. I am just stating my thoughts and feelings. I am glad I didn't sell fm2.

Ok I guess they are fixing the tuning portion to an extent. Sounds like you can load saved tunes. Still makes no sense why you would have 40 race tunes for one car when you could simply switch the gearing for each.

I drift in private matches 99.9% and just invite silly bastards I know, lol. So, I'm fine with the online multiplayer options. The tuning issue is homo though, glad to hear they are fixing that.

Well they arent really fixing the tuning issue. They are adding the ability to load other saved tunes. So that doesn't help much , if at all.

Just so you can load saved tunes. Not so you can tune in the lobby.

So they add drift points and drift leaderboards and remove tuning in the lobby...
