lets see...Im 23 serving in the Airforce as a Senior Airman (soon to be Staff Sarge if things go well)

Ive been drifting in games since the glory days of Dreamcast on Tokyo Extreme Racer.

Im by no means new to the Forza scene. I have played an active role in the drift community since Forza went live.

My drift style mainly consists of weight transfers and braking slides. Add a clutch kick to the mix and you got one mean drift technique ^_-

Perhaps my time away has taken its toll. I want you guys to know it wasn't my intention to ignore team affairs or ignore its members in general.

I have very little along the lines of excuses so I wont make any. Simply put I was distracted with other things and these other things ate up all my time.

This is both inexcusable and irresponsible on my part, I apologize. I know I owe you guys more than that as this team both accepted me under its good graces and provided me with a great platform to share my ideas and contribute to one of the greatest and most intelligent communities I ever had the privilege to be a part of.

In light of all of this I humbly ask you take me back on the team. Perhaps I can earn your trust and any lost respect from you guys.

If you wish to talk more with me about this issue please either msg me here or AIM me @ Lain Otaku P7.

First off, I want to apologize for the way I went about breaking the news to you, Lain. It most definitely was not the best way to go about doing it. I was EXTREMELY intoxicated last night and I probably said a lot of things I didn't mean. In my drunkenness I even forgot that decision was made a while back. It was not right and I'm truly sorry, lol. I bet you, along with everyone else I played with last night wanted to punch me in the face.

I never want to see anyone from our team get cut unless there's a solid, legitimate reason. For a while now, to me, it seemed like the fire was dying out as far as drifting and a majority of the team went. I still feel a bit of tension within some of the team, but I plan on helping to fix that. Recently, several members have made a pretty impressive effort in returning to Forza and I like that. With this upcoming video project I want to create, I need all the talent/help I can get. I can't stress this enough. I promise you, this will pay off in the end. I want to show everyone what I know I'm capable of. After the multiple freaking EPIC tandem runs Point and I had today, I was so stoked again to keep working on this.

(ok, video rant ended. lol)

This is how I look at the situation at hand...

(Not to get all arrogant, but...) I consider DIS one of the top teams to be on in this community. If you are here, you proved something to the team. Either you showed you possess a talent that most don't have or you showed you had potential. When you take that for granted, and disappear for months at a time with no communication there becomes an issue. Again, I know this is a video game, and I don't mean to make this out to be some prestigious, epic dilemma, but there are tons people who would do anything to get a spot on our team.

I know you explained that you were getting bored with Forza, we all get that. We just need to make it as interesting as we can for a little bit longer. We all take breaks from Forza for other games (some longer or even more often than others). But most of the active team still hang out on a daily basis. It's cool if you need a break, but when you appear online and don't respond to any messages, the result is inevitable. It's definitely not anything personal by any means. The same would happen to me or any of us. With these pretty big changes happening recently, there will be several issues that will require a team vote. I will need to talk with the rest of the team but this could end up being one of those issues. I can't promise anything, you know how we do things, but I think it's safe to say we're all gonna need to see a lot more effort from the less active members before anyone's mind is changed.

Whatever happens, I'm not sure how everyone feels but you will stay on my friends list and there's no reason why we all can't hang out whenever you want either way. I have no problem with you at all, Lain. I hope the same goes for you.
