Nice post dude. Its crazy how many people show up online completely new and excited to drift on FM2. I am more than happy to help new people as long as they aren't kids.

Thanks, I still haven't had a chance to drift with you guys yet, but you all seem pretty cool. Shoot me a FR next time you're online. (DIS Boppinz)

No need to yell, lol. And there is no "best" car. Just make sure its RWD, 400hp to 500hp at most, and has a race suspension to start out. Then follow some of Boppinz's hints in the OP. Hopefully that is some help. If it matters, I started with a Toyota Sprinter Trueno (AE86).

since this isn't FM.net i'm not gonna flame ya over using what you like, hell that's the best thing about FM2. asfar as drifting goes i would highly suggest learning on a RWD mainly b/c RWD is the respected driveline for drifting and also for FM2

if your willing to give it a go most pple on this site including myself would me more than happy to gift you a RWD and/or help you along the way

asfor the AWD, personally i'd wait until you atleast give RWD a honest try and then persue it.

if you have any questions or just need some advise feel free to post up here or send me a FR - DIS Wakko and i'd be glad to help out when i can.

you should be running manual transmission, it gives you way more control over your rpms during corner entry and mid drift

RWD = Drift
AWD = Waste of time
