I've seen so many threads like this fail but I think it would be nice if we could all put some ideas down in writing what this game must have in order to impress us, lol.

This isn't a request or a speculation thread, just list ideas and drift related content you think the game must have in order to be successful in your eyes. ... and please, nothing ridiculous like "OMG We need MONSTORR TRUCKZ! RAH!" LoL

I'll update this post with good ideas we agree on. Here it goes:

*<Upgrades>*

-More and more accurate name brand aero kits.
-More wheels, 2 and 3 piece ability to be painted separate colors.
-Offset. When buying wheels, it would be nice to choose the offset in order to make your wheels extrude out more or less.
-Ability to have a different set of wheels/tires in the front than the wheels/tires in the back.
-More realistic ride heights on some cars.
-Ability to remove rear wing on any car.
-Ability to apply all the parts and settings for a saved tuning setup with the click of a button.
-RWD conversions/swaps on any AWD car.
-Front/rear end conversions only (between manufacturer and/or model).
-If a car has flip up lights, please let us "sleepy eye" them. =)

*<Physics>*

-Not so "spin-happy" cars. (Where you tap a wall and spin 1080 degrees+)
-MORE REALISTIC TIRE SMOKE
-Better simulation of speed. (When you are driving 150mph in Forza, sometimes it feels like maybe 65. Wind noise, maybe a slight blur of objects...?)
-Night driving + Wet track options

*<Cars>*

No more than 1 version of each car. We don't need 5 R34 Skylines or 6 Evolutions. (Some exceptions could apply with certain desired custom tuned cars such as the RE-Amemiya)

Maybe some more actual Formula D / D1 Replicas?

1980 Mazda RX-7 (FB3S)

R33 Nissan Skyline
ER32, 33, 34 Nissan Skyline (4-door)
Datsan 510
1985 Nissan 300zx
1990 Nissan 240sx Hatchback and Coupe / 180sx
1998 Nissan 240sx (aggressive front)
2007 Nissan 350z Convertible

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV

1990's Toyota Chaser
1986 Toyota Levin
1996 Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC300

2008 BMW M6
2008 BMW M5
2001 BMW M5
2005 BMW M3 CSL
2008 BMW 1 Series

2005 Honda Integra Type-R / Acura RSX Type-S
1999 Honda Civic Type-R
2000 Honda Accord Euro-R
1991 Honda Prelude Si

1990 Ford Mustang Fastback 5.0

1990 Chevy Camaro Iroc

*<Tracks>*

(Availability to switch between day and night?)

-Irwindale Speedway + Infield
-Fujimi Kaido
-Blue Mountains Raceway
-Tokyo Circuit
-Infineon Raceway
-Long Beach Grand Prix Street Course
-Englishtown Raceway
-Evergreen Speedway
-Ebisu Circuit
-Fuji Speedway
-Okayama International Circuit

That's all I can think of for now. If you have more to add, go ahead.

I agree with all of that. But, considering that T10 is working on PGR5 I'm sure they'll do more with "dynamic weather effects" and night tracks for sure. Anyway, I agree with all that. Oh, and for the love of God add a 1996 Chevy Impala SS to that list you punk. Wink

I would really like to see realistic smoke. I could be completley off here but I would think that you get more smoke due to more tire spin (and not to mention the amount of rubber touching the road). Is that right? Someone with knowledge enlighten me.

More cars blah blah blah.

Maybe a drift mode where it keeps points whatever for us or something like that. It would be cool if actual drifters in real life could collaborate with the best drifters on the game (hence DIS, lol) to set up a type of drift competition based on all of the elements. Also this would come with an in-game ladder with stats etc. This way battles could go completley online with no forum drama. Ranked and Unranked battles are possible as well as Team battles. ***DISCLAIMER*** THE PHYSICS SHOULD NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT BE CHANGED FROM THE REGULAR RACE MODES!!!! We made it this far without any help from the game to drift, we don't need help.

I'm sure ill think of more.

+10000 to all of these

Few things I would like to see that wasn't listed is air/ fuel ratio mapping (to get the most out of NA powered cars) We buy EFM's in game...why the hell cant I make use of it?

Boost controllers and options for turbo and supercharged cars

bring back my damn e-brake pressure adjuster option!

Also because im such a fanboy of the motor...I want to see KA24DE motor swap options for Nissan cars

Well the more power you have going to your wheels, the faster you can spin the tires. Wider tires do help too. That's why a lot of the lower powered Japanese cars don't produce as much smoke as say Vaughn Gitten's Mustang.

I agree with pretty much everything everyone has said, but felt it was extra necessary to agree with Lain on the E-Brake pressure adjustment option from FM1. I loved that option when tuning.

Yeah thats what I thought baps, thanks.

I'm not sure why they took out the E-brake pressure from FM1, well not sure why they would take anything out of a game once already in it but thats a different story.

Even Need for Speed had customizable turbos. Thats low forza, that's low.

Thanks for the replies, homies. =)

I'll add the ideas you all have brought up shortly. And please excuse my highly Japanese biased car list. It's just the cars I know and love, lol. I can't help it. =P

I agree with what has been said, especially the Japanese-Biased car list Very Happy

You forgot to add a new replay system, with better camera angles and a way of rewinding via time and not place on the track!

Hell yes, great addition to the list Woody! I hate the way replays work right now.

Oh very nice! I remember discussing that with you before, Bolton. I'll be sure to add that.

Yep, that's got to be the most annoying thing on Forza at the moment! Some specialized tuner car's such as the Top secret S15 (A paintable one like Tilt has) or my personal favorite, the PowerHouse Amuse S2000...FTW!
